Happy CBD Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving! It’s that time of year again. Time for crisp air, family gatherings, turkey trots, football, delicious food, tasty drinks, fresh pie and a little CBD.

A  CBD-infused Thanksgiving can take the holiday and traditional feast to a whole new level and experience. Before you spend all day in the kitchen preparing, make sure to inform your guests that a few items on the table will be made with a CBD recipe. It is important to let all guests know which dishes are made with CBD. Don’t pressure your guests to try your recipes but allow this to be an opportunity to educate those on using CBD. As always, we encourage users to consult with a medical professional before using CBD products. Just in case, make sure to have non CBD infused options on the table for those who do not use CBD.

A traditional Thanksgiving feast includes turkey, mashed potatoes, gravy  stuffing/dressing and a pumpkin pie. All of these and more can be made with a touch of CBD oil or cannabis butter.

When making a CBD infused feast , you will still use a standard turkey recipe that includes butter or oil. Upon basting the CBD turkey, use olive oil mixed with 1 to 3 teaspoons of cannabis-infused oil or butter. Canna-mashed potatoes will pair perfectly with a turkey. One to three tablespoons of cannabis butter will be added to the wet ingredients. What are mashed potatoes without a little gravy? Include 1/2 cup CBD butter to your recipe. Melt the CBD butter in a large saucepan over medium to high heat.  Next, one of the favorite dishes is CBD stuffing. Add 20 – 40 drops of your favorite CBD oil ( based on desired strength) with olive oil as you drizzle across the bread. Then, it’s time to end the evening with a slice of canna-pumpkin pie. Prepare a pumpkin pie as usual but instead use one to three tablespoons of melted cannabis butter (Your CBD store Keller).

Cooking and baking with cannabis butter or CBD oil is always a special treat and another way to use CBD for medicinal needs. Have fun and be safe this holiday season!
