With 420 just around the corner, cannabis enthusiasts in the Bay Area can start to make their plans. Hippie Hill in San Francisco, California is back and ready to celebrate on Wednesday, April 20, 2022. Hippie Hill is expected to draw in thousands of people to Robin Williams Meadow located in Golden Gate Park.
The famous 420 celebration at Hippie Hill in San Francisco tradition goes back decades. Hippie Hill is historically known as being home to the “Summer of Love”, the hippie movement, and overall counterculture of the 60s & 70s. Even though that time period has passed, the legacy of 420 is still here. Each year on April 20th, people come together on the hill to celebrate Cannabis and all its glory. It truly is the largest organic gathering of its kind on the West Coast (EINNEWS).
Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, the festival has been cancelled for the past two years. Finally, we can all come back together to celebrate. This year, we can expect a great lineup of music, comedy and special tributes to Robin Williams and Bog Saget.
LOCATION: Robin Williams Meadow, Golden Gate Park, San Francisco, CA.
Hippie Hill is found on the eastern end of Golden Gate Park, between the Conservatory of Flowers and Haight Street.
